I am very pleased to recommend the Professional Training Group (PTG). As Country Director and development consultant here in Georgia, I have had contact with this organization for several years and know first hand of their dedication and professionalism.
I first came into contact with the PTG in 2003 when I was a Country Director for an American based NGO. We were implementing a US Department of State (now USAID) program known as Community Connections. Under the auspices of this program we routinely recruited and sent businessmen and professionals to the United States for a 3 week internship experience. As part of our selection and orientation process, we sent selected participants to the PTG, with whom we had established a contract with, for additional ESL practice and cross communications courses.
We chose to establish a relationship with PTG based on their reputation of excellence and professionalism. Not only did PTG meet our and the US government’s expectations, but they exceeded it.
Participants learned far more than the basic ESL courses that many other organizations offer. The training and teambuilding exercises that the PTG employed changed prepared our participants for a variety of situations that they encountered in the United States. In fact, upon returning to Georgia after the internship, many participants commented on the invaluable experience that the PTG provided them with and were extremely pleased that it was part of our orientation process.
On a side note, many of those participants who were in the PTG program have been able to use their PTG experience to further their careers in the international market.
It is clear to me as I hope it is to you that the PTG is an exceptional organization, one whose training would enhance and contribute greatly to any program. I wholeheartedly recommend the organization.
If you have any additional questions about the PTG and their work, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Jason A. DuPont
